About the Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund was established in the year 1993 by the then Military Head of State Ibrahim Babaginda by Act No 7 of 1993 as the Education Trust Fund (ETF). TETFund was established due to the decrepit state of the Nigerian public tertiary institutions. It was at a time when the Tertiary institutions in Nigeria had collapsed and the morale and motivation of lecturers were at an all-time low. TETFund was established as an interventionist agency to provide funding for public tertiary institutions in Nigeria. With the funds provided for the agency, it was to rehabilitate the Nigerian tertiary institutions and also carry out projects that are beneficial to the institutions.

- Applicants should be Nigerian citizens
- Applicants should be computer literate
- Applicants should be free of any bribery charge
- Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent in relevant disciplines
- Applicants must be from the age of 18 and 35 years old
- Applicants should have a WASSCE, NECO or GCE certificate with credits in at least five subjects including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
