The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is an agency of the federal government of Nigeria tasked with the investigation of financial crimes in both the public and private sectors of the country and also the prosecution of financial offenders. Requirements for recruitment into the EFCC

Because of the sensitive nature of the mandate of the EFCC, it will conduct a thorough background check on any individual seeking employment. Applicants are to ensure that every document or certificate they submit is correct and every information supplied in their application is genuine and not false. Medical examination will be conducted for shortlisted candidates to ensure that they are physically and mentally fit for the agency. Some of the other requirements include

  • A school leaving certificate (WASCE, NECO) with credits in relevant subjects.
  • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (any other added qualification like a master’s degree and any certifications is an added advantage)
  • Applicants should be computer literate
  • Applicants must have a valid means of identification i.e National ID, Driver’s license, or voter’s card
  • Applicants will be required to present their NYSC discharge certificate

Applicants should visit the recruitment Portal of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) www.efccnigeria.org/efcc/career to download the application form, fill in the required information and submit it to the closest EFCC near you. There are 14 EFCC zonal offices nationwide.
